British Flowers Week 2020 will, I’m sure, in years to come be remembered as the year that this annual celebration took place virtually. Starting tomorrow, Monday 15th June, the launch of British Flowers Week not only coincides with the re-opening of New Covent Garden Flower Market, but it’s also the day that florists are able to re-open their doors.
Now in its eighth year, British Flowers Week is an initiative from New Covent Garden Market. And its aim is to champion the fantastic variety, beauty and quality of British cut flowers, foliage and plants. Plus the people behind them. This includes small and large scale British growers, wholesalers and local florists throughout the UK.
